MEET THE MAN BEHIND THE BADGE
At 17, Rich's mother had to sign for him to enlist in the U.S. Coast Guard. That's how committed he was from the start.
While serving, he also trained as a Paramedic, learning to make life-or-death decisions under extreme pressure.
He went on to dedicate 33 years to law enforcement, serving in New York City, Colorado, and Florida, as a Crisis Negotiations Team Leader, and 24 years in criminal investigations, with a focus on Violent Crimes, Homicide, and Sexual Assault.
During that time, he also served as a Field Training Officer (FTO), shaping the next generation of officers and detectives from day one on the job.
During his time in Colorado, his fellow officers elected him President of the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), a position he held for 3 years.
40 years of service. Established principles, proven in the field. What Rich teaches, he lived.
Trained by the academy. Forged by the streets.
