Two Ways to Train

Host an Open Class

You provide the venue. We handle everything else. Officers from any agency in your region can register.

  • 5 free seats for providing the venue
  • 1 more free seat for every 5 paid officers, from any agency
  • No risk: if the minimum is not reached 14 days before the class, we reschedule with you or cancel with a full refund to every registered agency
  • The host agency never pays for unfilled seats

Book a Private Class

A class for your officers only, scheduled around your department.

  • Your agency guarantees the class minimum
  • Final count confirmed 14 days before the class
  • 1 free seat for every 5 paid officers

Example

Your agency hosts Interviews & Interrogations and 20 officers from area agencies register. Your agency sends 9 officers free: 5 for hosting, plus 4 earned from the 20 paid seats.

In-Service Hours and Training Funds

Colorado officers need 24 hours of in-service training each year, and 12 of those hours are chosen by the agency. One Polished Badge full-day course covers 8 of them.

  • We provide a Certificate of Completion and attendance roster so your agency can record the course in the POST Portal.
  • Training funds may be available through your Colorado POST region or the POST In-Service Grant. We provide the course outline, pricing and instructor information your application needs.

How It Works

  1. Contact us. Tell us which course you need and whether you want to host an open class or book a private one.
  2. Choose the date. We confirm the course, date, location and class minimum with you.
  3. Sign the agreement. You receive a simple agreement with the price per officer and all terms in writing.
  4. We train your officers. Every officer leaves with a Certificate of Completion.
