These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of polishedbadge.com and the services offered by Polished Badge LLC (“Polished Badge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our Site or registering for a training, you agree to these Terms.
Our services
Polished Badge provides in person law enforcement training courses, instructional materials, and related content for departments, agencies, and their officers.
Use of the site
You agree to use our Site only for lawful purposes and not to misuse it, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it in an unauthorized way.
Intellectual property
All content on our Site and in our courses, including text, graphics, logos, the Polished Badge name and badge, and all training materials, is owned by Polished Badge LLC and protected by law. Course materials are provided for participant use only and may not be reproduced, recorded, or distributed without our written consent.
Training registrations and agreements
Training registrations and bookings are subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Department engagements are also governed by our Law Enforcement Training Services Agreement, which controls if there is any conflict with these Terms for that engagement.
Educational purpose and disclaimer
Our training is provided for educational purposes only. Polished Badge is not liable for any actions taken or not taken by participants following a training. The client and each participant are responsible for how training content is understood and applied within their department.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Polished Badge LLC and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the service giving rise to the claim.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except as required by law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes will be resolved in Pasco County, Florida.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
