Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective date: July 13, 2026
This policy explains cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds for Polished Badge trainings. Department bookings made under a signed Law Enforcement Training Services Agreement follow the terms below, which mirror that agreement.
Department bookings (signed agreement)
- Deposit: a non refundable deposit of 35% of the total fee is due upon signing to confirm the training date.
- Balance: the remaining balance is due no later than 7 business days before the training date. Late payment may result in cancellation.
Cancellation by the client:
- 30 days or more before the training: full deposit refund, and the training may be rescheduled at no additional cost.
- 15 to 29 days before the training: 50% of the deposit is forfeited, and the training may be rescheduled once at no additional cost.
- 14 days or less before the training: the full deposit is forfeited, and any travel expenses already incurred by Polished Badge will be billed to the client.
- Cancellation by Polished Badge: in the unlikely event we must cancel, you will receive a full refund of all payments made and the option to reschedule at a mutually agreed date.
Individual or per officer online registrations
For registrations purchased online for a scheduled course (for example, a per officer seat):
- Refunds: available up to 14 days before the course date. Within 14 days of the course, registrations are non refundable.
- Transfers: a paid seat may be transferred to another officer from the same agency, or applied to a future course, at no charge if requested at least 7 days before the course.
- No shows: registrations that are not used and not cancelled in advance are non refundable.
How to request a cancellation or refund
Email info@polishedbadge.com with your name, agency, and the course and date. We will confirm in writing. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.
